We had a blast camping in Yellowstone National Park two summers ago. The combination of spectacular scenery, wild animals and geothermal features makes this one of my favorite trips we’ve ever taken. Early June was still a little chilly for tent camping, but it warmed up beautifully during the day. And by going in the shoulder season, we beat the peak summer crowds. Totally worth those freezing nights and frosty mornings!
Even though we only had 4 days, I’m amazed at how much we saw. Here are a few highlights from our time in Yellowstone.
