It’s that time of year again in Québec – sugaring season! The nights are still freezing cold, but the days are warming up, little by little.
During a quick trip to Montréal a few weeks ago, we accidentally stumbled upon what we like to call Montréal’s Best Kept Secret.
The views are stunning and it’s interesting to see arctic vegetation without going too far north. If you’re lucky, which we weren’t, you may even see a caribou!
Last weekend we had incredible warm weather so we drove up to the Parc National de la Jacques-Cartier. At just 30 minutes from Québec City, this will probably become our backyard for the summer. We’ve got our membership cards for the year, so we hope to do as many hikes as weather and time will permit.
